“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭12

You have received a different spirit from the world, and it is clear what his purpose is concerning you:
“…bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬, 16:13-15
He always brings to your fore the word of God; he glorifies Jesus in all situations and the Bible tells us that fellowshipping with the word means fellowshipping with light, that means he causes you to always have clarity in every aspect of your life- you never experience darkness!
“…God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” 1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬
But that is different from what the spirit of the world offers:
“in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not…” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬
He blinds the minds of men, he causes them to walk in darkness and he does that by bringing to their fore words that are not of God, no wonder Jesus said: Mark 4:24, Luke 8:18
See the options- a life of clarity, purpose and peace or a life of confusion, depression and slavery to lusts. The words you pay attention to would reveal your choice to you.
