“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬

There is a spirit of the world, and he sets him against and different from the Spirit of God, what that means is the spirit of the world is a real personality that functions in the world with people just as the Holy Spirit would function. Jesus said of the Holy Spirit:
“…and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬
So there is such a spirit that brings to remembrance the things in the world subtly or obviously and cause men to walk in them:
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” 1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬
Yes, everything is spiritual, there is such a spirit responsible for furthering the lusts, pride and eventual decadence in the world- but we have received a different spirit.
