“He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; His righteousness endureth for ever; His horn shall be exalted with honour.”
Psalm 112:9
Always remember that God expects every increase you experience to be a source of blessing towards his house and others.
You see in Luke 12:16-21, the man was already rich, so God wasn’t displeased with his wealth, in fact despite being already rich, his ground still brought forth plentifully, so he didn’t become wealthier by ungodly methods, and God wasn’t displeased with his means of increase; yet God called him a fool, because his response to his sudden increase was selfish and self centered: Proverbs 11:24-25, 28:27.
God expected him to be just as rich towards God as God had been gracious to him. A good man who fears the Lord and delights in his word, would walk in prosperity and as he does, God expects him to express his righteousness by being gracious, compassionate and benevolent to others:
“…He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth…” Psalm 112:4-5
In doing so, he is establishing his righteousness forever as we see in the main verse.
