“He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; His righteousness endureth for ever; His horn shall be exalted with honour.”
Psalm 112:9
There is a promise for the giver, the Bible says his righteousness would endure forever- irrespective of the pressures of life, his righteousness would remain unaffected and the Apostle Paul emphasizes it:
“(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: His righteousness remaineth for ever.” 2 Corinthians 9:9
For his righteousness to remain, it means he was already righteous and in case he was a sinner, certainly, the way of righteousness would be shown him- listen to the angel talk to Cornelius (Acts 10:1-7):
“…Thy prayers and thine ALMS are come up for a memorial before God.” Acts 10:4
What’s more? His horn shall be exalted with honor, and no surprise because in fellowshipping with the word, you are fellowshipping with the one with whom riches and honor dwell- Proverbs 8:18
