“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.” John 12 vs 46
Continuing from the main verse:
“And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.” John 12:47
He said whoever believes in him should not abide in darkness; and then he expatiates, he meant whoever believes in his words. Words are powerful and words are potent; knowing that you have been made light, your words must reflect who you really are, just like you condition your spirit and set the conditions of your life with words, it is the same way you take hold of situations and lighten the environment with your words.
You can declare you walk in health always, as you should, but if peradventure, you are afflicted by sudden darkness in your body; use the same words to fix the situation, instead of asking why the darkness showed up.
Jesus had told his disciples to move to the other end of the lake- meaning he had set the conditions for the trip; it’ll be successful! On their way there, they encountered a storm, he didn’t misuse his words in complaining, instead he used those same words and calmed the storm; learn from him! [Mark 4:35-41]
