“That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:” (Ephesians 3:6)
In Christ, you have redemption, and then he tells you Christ is your redemption!
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us… redemption:” 1 Corinthians 1:30
He’s the reason you can hope for a better today and tomorrow irrespective of a past that might have been filled with mistakes and disappointments.
“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:” 1 John 2:1
Even if you made a recent mistake, realize he is your riddance and he is your advocate; presenting himself as the evidence why you should not face the consequences of that mistake (because he already bore them on the cross) and what’s more? He is ‘the righteous’ and so he’s an advocate that can right every wrong when you acknowledge him and walk accordingly:
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7
Your father, who is the God of hope lives in you- you should never lose hope of a better future. (See, Romans 15:13)
