“That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:” (Ephesians 3:6)

In Christ, we have obtained an inheritance- we are joint heirs with him; all that he has, we have been given.
He has given us his life:
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” 1 John 5:11, see also John 5:26
The Spirit of God dwells in us:
“…And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” 1 John 3:24
He has given us his name:
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:17, see also 2 Timothy 2:19
We share in his glory:
“Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 2:14
And our destiny is to express him: Romans 8:29.
