What an insightful Christmas Carol service yesterday!!! Pastor reminded us from the book of Luke 2:10 “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people “, what the birth of Jesus meant for us and the purpose of his coming. We were shown that Jesus brought us salvation; salvation from hell- salvation from spiritual death. She further explained spiritual death as a separation from God who is the author of life and hence Jesus came to bridge that separation (Romans 5:1b: “…we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”). Pastor reminded us that whatever happens spiritually must have an expression physically just as when the clouds are full of rain they empty themselves, so if we have been saved from spiritual death, then that salvation must manifest physically also. We have been saved from all forms of perishing: John 3:16.
It is therefore important that we become conscious of this salvation manifesting physically in our bodies, purses, manner of thoughts etc. and as such, we don’t tolerate sickness in our bodies and we don’t tolerate lack or any form of perishing!
