David was destined to be a king and so he abandoned shepherding sheep for leading the children of Israel, any other endeavor would probably have turned out well in the eyes of men, but:
“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Psalms 127:1
So what has God destined for you?
“…much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)” Romans 5:17
If the conditions are correct for you- you have received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, then go ahead and walk in destiny and subdue stubborn circumstances- reign in life!
It is not your destiny to be timid, it is your destiny to reign. So what a mismatch it is when you let yourself be overcome- even unto tears- by contrary situations or delays. Crying won’t change it, reigning would! You are a child of a king and he tells you what’s innate to you:
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4
