“Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.”  2 Corinthians 8:7

It is possible for you to abound in everything; to experience surplus and excess of everything- one thing doesn’t have to suffer for another; you’ve been called into a life of perfection!
You can abound in your fellowship with God- your communion grows stronger, you can abound in excellence, your finances, thriving relationships- one thing does not have to suffer for another.
“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”  Colossians 2:10
He emphasizes abounding in faith first! Faith is believing and speaking what you have believed, remaining steadfast; expecting what you have spoken to manifest.
In his life, we see various instances where Jesus walked by faith and after he got the results, made it clear that it was only made possible through faith.
He spoke to a fig tree and the tree dried up from its roots, even if it took a whole day, when asked how it happened (despite the seeming delay); he said he had faith!
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”  Mark 11:22
He raised Lazarus from the dead, despite varying emotional setbacks, he told Martha to believe.
“Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?”  John 11:40
Our wonderful Jesus lives his supernatural life, abounding in faith- do the same!
“…but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”  Mark 11:23
