“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”
Colossians 3:1

“When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:4
Such a remarkable verse! If Christ is your life, then your life is Christ and so when Christ appears, your life appears with him in glory! This is his desire, that you are found in his glory, the bible says:
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
When we behold the glory of God, we are changed into that same image of the glory of God in increasing measure, so Jesus’ prayer to the father, is even more revealing:
“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me…” John 17:24
There are different types of glories, different glories for different beings:
“…the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.” 1 Corinthians 15:40-41
This is the glory he is saying he wants you to see and change into:
“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” John 17:5
He has such great desires for you, it was his request to the Father and he got his answer, now that you are living in the reality of his answered prayer, the bible says desire the things above, meaning, prioritize knowledge of him, his glory revealed to you in his word and walking in that reality. Look at what the glory of God manifest on the earth wroughts:
“When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine… This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.” John 2:9,11
“Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? And he that was dead came forth…” John 11:40,44
