“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”
Colossians 3:1
He tells you your position as a Christian; he says you are risen with Christ and this is emphasized in the word of God, and desired by Jesus himself:
“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 1:20-21, 2:6
“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am…” John 17:24
And we see the consequence of your position, you are far above principalities, powers and any name that can be named, not just physically, but in authority. No wonder he says:
“Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27
And he also says:
“…Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
And Jesus said:
“…cast out devils…” Mark 16:17
Just like he did:
“And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.” Mark 1:39
When you became a Christian, things changed and every being took notice, now be conscious of the changes and walk in that reality.
