“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”
Psalms 22:3

The Bible tells us:
“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7
Meaning we ought to live our lives as an expression of and a response to the word not what we see, hear, smell, taste and feel (the tongue tasting bitter doesn’t equate sickness), and we know that in doing so, our whole existence becomes pleasing to God.
Our whole being can become a sweet fragrance unto the Lord. He tells us how:
“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” Hebrews 13:15
A life of praise and thanksgiving, is a life that yields precious and sweet fruits for the Lord, a life that praises despite the many reasons to remain sad; a life that chooses to walk by faith instead of sight would remain sweet to God!
Look at Jesus, he lived a life of praise:
“Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.” Hebrews 2:12
