“For it is written: Rejoice, childless woman, who does not give birth. Burst into song and shout, you who are not in labor, for the children of the desolate are many, more numerous than those of the woman who has a husband.”
Galatians 4:27 HCSB
If expressing joy can transform a situation and effect results, then imagine what God thought when he put joy in your spirit.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,” Galatians 5:22
Remember, when it comes to Jesus answering you, he doesn’t just give you a cup of water, he makes you the well. God put joy in your spirit, and he expects that joy bubbling out of you to completely overwhelm whatever situation that might seem stout towards you:
“but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14
With his word, you can expect to walk rejoicing despite the circumstance and not just that, because you share his word with others, they also would walk rejoicing- John 15:11
