“To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:”
Romans 2:7
Do you know anyone who’s born again, is born of incorruptible seed? And that means they are now incorruptible:
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23
God didn’t have to do or tell us this, but he did and told us so we can use this truth and change the way we think about ourselves and our walk with him:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Romans 12:2
We are born of the word and the Bible says:
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world…” 1 John 5:4
We have overcome the lust and pride in the world (1 John 2:16) and that means everyone who is born again has overcome the end result of such lust— which is corruption (2 Peter 1:4b).
You are no longer obligated to be affected by the corruption on the earth, know this and rebel against any such expectations so you can live the glorious life God predestined for you:
“Consequently, brothers, we are not—with respect to human nature, that is—under an obligation to live according to human nature. For if you live according to human nature, you are going to die…” Romans 8:12-13, ISV
