“To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:”
Romans 2:7

Jesus expected everything that came from us to have an expression of permanence; he said:
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain…” John 15:16
A corrupt tree doesn’t bare incorrupt fruit; he had shown us earlier the impossibility of that:
“Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.” Matthew 12:33
Meaning there is a righteous permanence about your life and he expects you to express same! That is what God recognizes- only that which is borne (or done) by his eternal word:
“…the children of the promise are counted for the seed.” Romans 9:8
This is why recognizing who you are, what you have received and how to live accordingly is so important- you are born of the word, immortality is at work in you and God expects you to do only his word- every action or speech is a direct expression of his word.
So where is that person who identifies as always weak and sickly? Not supposed to be a possibility in Christ- Isaiah 33:24.
