“I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”
1 Timothy 2:8
It takes some faith to pray to an invisible God, firstly, that’s beyond what eyes can see- and God rewards such faith:
“…for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
So from the moment you begin asking, you’re already in a great place with God, that should excite you to know that he’s happy you’re asking.
Remember he already knows what you want before you ask (Matthew 6:8), so he is very pleased that instead of asking someone else, keeping quiet or getting unnecessary bothered, you- in faith- are making your requests known to him: Hebrews 11:6a
And one thing is certain, once you ask, his peace goes into action, guarding your heart and mind and granting your desires: Philippians 4:6-7
The place of prayer is a place of faith- never doubt; there really is no point to it.
