“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When the world grovels in the dark, God wants you to insist on your sanctification- you are not in the dark:
“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness… we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭4‬-‭5‬
And express his glory- his grace and his word. Because you are not of the dark or in darkness, he doesn’t expect you to identify with those in the dark and take upon yourself their limitation.
“Be not afraid of sudden fear, Neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬
On the contrary he tells you, as you insist on the word- ( “…the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭3‬)- they identify with you, they listen to and believe the word you so lavishly express and they are transformed! No situation should be too troubling to make you cower or feel intimidated, instead you shine and dispel the darkness!
