“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Always remember, your shining as light is relevant in the deliverance of those bound in darkness, it is just as important as it is urgent, the Bible tells us:
“…For the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭74‬:‭20‬
So when gross darkness covers the people, he is saying, people would be subject to untold cruelty and wickedness but there’s a way out- they would walk away from that darkness towards your light when you shine!
“Arise, shine… For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people… And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭1‬-‭3‬
But how will they be saved without hearing, hearing the word from your lips?
“…and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬
Don’t hold back- be bold about God’s word, shine!
