“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”

Jesus, in his prayer to God, asked that by reason of his word, we lived different lives from those in the world:
“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” ‭‭John‬ ‭17‬:‭16‬-‭17‬
His word is our difference, by submitting to and doing his word, he expected that we had different experiences and results from the rest of the world.
While others might be in the dark, and remain in a state of bewilderment or confusion, because of his word, our own paths just keeps getting better.
“But the path of the just is as the shining light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬
