“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Despite the darkness covering the earth, God’s desire is that his glory is seen upon you, and the Bible tells us:
“…and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) FULL OF grace and truth.” John‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬
His desire is that you lavishly express his grace and his truth- which is his word, John 17:17- despite the darkness and anguish in the world.

He wants you to be an expression of his glory-his grace; knowing that your progress and advancement in a dark world, is not dependent on your environment or external factors but on his unmerited favor which you richly enjoy because he has arisen upon you.
