“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬

The prospect of disobedience and sinning against God came when man was introduced to words aside from the word of God- and when he acted on those words- sin entered into the world and death through sin:
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin…” Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬
God’s word is life, any thing outside his word has one sure purpose- destruction.
“And I know that his commandment is life everlasting…” John‬ ‭12‬:‭50‬
Death and destruction was not God’s plan, in fact it is clear from the main verse that if all Adam heard and acted upon was the word of God- there would have been no end to his prosperity and even his life:
“Length of days is in her right hand; And in her left hand riches and honour.” Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬
Good news! You have the word of God today and the option to stick to the word and meditate therein day and night- don’t shortchange yourself. Fulfill words of prophecy that went ahead before you shows up: “It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God…” John 6:45
