“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬

In the main verse, he says “blessed is the man… his delight is in the law of the Lord”. Imagine that, you can be excited, delighted about God’s word and why not? The word of God made all things and can furnish you with all that you require for life and godliness- teaching you how to walk in the reality of what is already yours:
“according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3
There are people who delight in sports or some events and there is no promise of a blessing associated with that emotional expression. The man who delights in God’s word is blessed! There is a blessing he will enjoy, after all he must really believe in the word to actually get excited about the word: John 20:29
Even more so, will be blessed when he ponders on the word and does the word. James 1:25.
