“Love is always patient; love is always kind; love is never envious or arrogant with pride. Nor is she conceited,”
1 Corinthians 13:4, ISV
The Bible says:
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1 John 4:8
So God is always patient- how true! He is patient with us, he is patient with you. God is always kind. There is no limit to his hope and he believes the best:
“Love…believes the best in all; there is no limit to her hope…” 1 Corinthians 13:7, ISV
No wonder his thoughts towards us are not of evil but of peace to bring us to an expected end: irrespective of the mistakes we might make, there is no limit to his hope and his belief in us and as such in that situation, he’s thinking about how to navigate us back on that path of righteousness.
Isn’t that lovely? Seeing you are born of him, he expects you to be that lovely and kind towards others, not counting their sins but hopeful that they’d walk on the path of righteousness.
“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Ephesians 3:19
That verse is no surprise, when we comprehend the dimensions of Christ’s love, we would be filled with all the fullness of God. When our expressions of love matches the dimensions of God’s love- our love for others reaches far enough and is wide enough to accommodate all men, and can tolerate anything (high enough) and sincerely deep enough like God’s love is, then we would be filled with all the fullness of God. Contemplate on the fact that this is possible and how blessed we are to be found in such a place!
