“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15:7
Jesus said remain in the word: respond the way the word of God said you should respond, think only about what the word of God says you should think about, say only what the word says you should, be found where the word of God says you should be found- that way your experience would be exactly the experience the word of God has said you should have, which interestingly, is exactly the desires of your heart!
When people around you seem to communicate fear about any subject- academics, health, business, job etc, leave that place- that conversation is not for you. What concerns you- faith, favour, opportunities- that is what the word has given you!
When people have no plans to be involved with the gospel fully and have their priorities outside the word of God and his kingdom, Jesus said your actions should be the exact opposite:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
Don’t shortchange yourself, there is nothing you are looking for that the word cannot give you in excess- walking in wisdom would be choosing to remain in the word.
