“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15:7
Jesus said, abide in his word and let his words abide in you!
Maybe someone brought bad news to you, you have heard their word and you could carry those words through the day, but Jesus said discard them and let only his words remain!
They might have said you failed the professional exam, don’t carry those words into discouragement and depression- don’t give those words the power to influence your life and future, Jesus said let his words abide in you!
“Abide” means “remain”- meaning his words could be covered by something else- but refuse such covering and keep pondering on what he has said about you!!!
“But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.” 1Peter 2:9, TPT
They said you were rejected for that position, God said you are his chosen treasure! Which would you ponder on? Let His words abide in you!
They said your zealousness in God’s house would bring you to shame, God said he chose you to broadcast glory not shame! Which would you ponder on? Let His words abide in you!
