“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
Acts 20:32
God expects you to be built up, and to keep soaring higher and higher as an edifice- he wants you to increase in glory. See what the Bible says:
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
Read Jesus’ prayer to God:
“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me…” John 17:24
In our beholding his glory, he knew we would get even better and more glorious just like him, and this was his desire expressed as he prayed.
Give no room for stagnation in your life- and yes, there is something you can do about it. You can plan personal “building up” sessions right in your room, where you just pray in tongues, knowing you would leave far better and improved than when you started.
When you pray, capture and let God’s word fill your mind, be forever transformed.
