“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
Acts 20:32

The Bible tells us:
“And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured (metamorphoo) before them…” Matthew 17:1-2
It means he was metamorphosed, that’s the same metamorphosis and transformation promised us when we get to the word:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed (metamorphoo) by the renewing of your mind…” Romans 12:2
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed (metamorphoo) into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
But Jesus wasn’t carried by angels to the mountain, he made a deliberate effort to plan for it- against distractions and went ahead with his plan. He was committed; be committed to your progress; so that as you increase in time spent on this earth, you are also increasing in glory- and that is what matters most above all; the glory of God.
That was what Jesus sought for himself- John 17:5, and for us- John 17:24.
