“In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.”  Isaiah 63:9

This year of speed and fulfillment we realize that it’s not by power, nor is it by might- we would not walk with speed in fulfilling God’s word for our lives by our own power, intellectual prowess or mental calculations! It will have to be by the Holy Ghost!
The Bible tells us of Elijah:
“And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”  1 Kings 18:46
The hand of the Lord which is the Spirit of God came on Elijah and he ran faster than Ahab, Ahab had left before Elijah:
“he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not…And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.” 1 Kings 18:44-45
But when the Spirit of God got a hold of Elijah, he ran past Ahab- that’s some speed! As the Holy Ghost guides and carries us through this year 2021, we would accomplish our tasks for his church and for our lives with speed. Some circumstances might have prevented us from starting with others, might have made us stopped on our tracks by the way, but as we are carried by the Holy Ghost we would fulfill that journey with the power and joy of the Spirit.
Start working on those Kingdom plans recognizing you are not alone, the one who is greater than all is in you and has carried you!
