“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1:3
God called you- say that out loud. He chose you and called you, and he didn’t need the approval or consent of any other man to do so.
In the main verse, he shows you that he called you to glory! Hallelujah. He didn’t call you to shame and disdain but to a life of glory and thanksgiving. See what the Bible says:
“so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:12, NET
He wants people to look at your life and praise his glory; the glory he called you to live in and express to your world.
He wants you to prioritize knowing the one who called you to glory; who predestined you, and glorified you!
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called… them he also glorified.” Romans 8:30
In knowing him- having full and exact knowledge of him, you would live fully according to the glory that he has given you, because he also lives in that glory: [2 Corinthians 3:18]
