“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”  Acts 1:8

Jesus has a vision and a purpose for our being on the earth, when he was about to ascend, he could have told his disciples to build businesses if that was his priority or if that was even so relevant to him; but he didn’t. In all accounts, he left not doubt as to what he thought every Christian should be busy about:

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”  Matthew 28:19

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”  Mark 16:15

“And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”  Luke 24:47

“Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”  John 20:21

And the father sent the Holy Ghost for that purpose; the spirit of God is also busy about Jesus’ vision and priority:

“And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:”  John 16:8

“…which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven…”  1 Peter 1:12

“And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”  Mark 16:20

And he is working with you. Recognize his primary purpose in your life and adjust your living accordingly.
