“…for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Joshua 1:8
He tells us what to do to make our way prosperous- this is our responsibility, God gives us the tools and we use those tools for our lives. We determine the extent of our progress and prosperity by the frequency, consistency and excellence with which we use the resources God has lavishly made available to us. Jesus said:
“…he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23
He meant it. Think about that. No wonder, he had everything he said. When he said blind eyes should open, that was what he got, when he said bedridden men should rise, lift their beds and go home, he got exactly that, when he told Peter to cast his net for a catch, he got the catch- and boy, what a catch!
“And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.” Luke 5:6-7
So Peter knew, if Jesus said something, he’d get it:
“Peter answered him, “Lord, if it’s you, order me to come to you on the water.”” Matthew 14:28, ISV
And you know what- he walked on water.
“Jesus said, “Come on!” So Peter got down out of the boat, started walking on the water, and came to Jesus.” Matthew 14:29, ISV
Good news is, Jesus said the same is true about us- we have what we say, so what you require is in your mouth; it’s not in heaven above neither is it in hell below, it’s right with you- in your mouth!
“…Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?…Or, Who shall descend into the deep?…The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth…” Romans 10:6-8
