“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:….” Joshua 1:8.
You can determine what you observe in life. Meaning if you keep speaking the word, you will begin to realize that what you’ve been saying has become your reality. Continuing from our last SUED service, Pastor explained how this can be used to break unwanted addictions. She gave examples of people who wanted to stop smoking and continued speaking the word, even when they had the cigarette in their hands, they maintained their confession “I’ve stopped this habit” and overtime observed that they didn’t even remember to buy the cigarette anymore. And this is no surprise as the word of God has shown us that what we speak continuously will be our observation in reality.
Pastor shared how someone may have difficulty in certain part of their life, maybe in health, academics, finances or emotionally but the good news is we can choose what we observe. So for those individual observing difficulty in one aspect their life e.g. health, he should start speaking what he wants to observe in his body.
“I’m always in health.
I am complete in Christ
Nothing broken, nothing damaged in me. I never fall sick”
Looking at the life of Jesus in John 11:25 & John 14:6
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” John 11:25
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:16
He told us he is the resurrection and life. He is the life, meaning he will have difficulty dying. Life will be his observation, because when life shows up, death disappears. Therefore, to fulfill his purpose of dying for the sins of the world he started talking death. Jesus spoke his own death into existence because that was what he wanted to observe.
If speaking the word has the ability to make Life (Jesus) die, this means the word has the ability to make that which is dead to come back to life, to make that that impossible situation possible.
Pastor finally told us how those who have emotional problems- doing well in other aspects of their life- but in trying to get married, meets people who are unserious, can choose what they observe in their relationships by consistently speaking what they want.
“…for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8c
So if you want to observe prosperity in your life, it’s in your mouth. Starts speaking it. Start declaring. Rather than living coincidentally, be more deliberate about life.
