Glory! Glory!! Glory!!!

We had an awesome time giving thanks to God with singing, dancing, rejoicing and shouts of joy at the glorious end of the year Thanksgiving service that held on Sunday.

Pastor made reference to the lame man at the pool of Bethesda, in confidently instructing him to rise and walk, Jesus showed that he knew something had happened in the man’s body and he gave the man the information and instruction he needed as touching his restored ability to walk, God’s instruction to us to give him thanks is proof that he has taken care of everything that concerns us, Pastor charged us not to care or be concerned about others as we give thanks to God knowing that in blessing us, God does not consider what others would think first.

Pastor then shared from 1 John 4:2,

“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

In our walk on the earth, we are bound to hear different voices, voices of discouragement, fear or hope, however, the Word of God clearly shows us how to discern the Spirit of God, every time the Spirit of God shows up, he confesses that Jesus came in the flesh; that all of the word of God was once manifested in an individual, Jesus and that it is also possible for everything in the word of God to be manifested in the our lives, for instance, the Word of God shows us that as Christians, good health is our reality, goodness and mercies is our experience, any voice and thought that is in consonance with this is of God.

On the contrary, any spirit that doubts, questions or negates the reality of God’s word in our lives is not of God, any thought that normalizes fear, failure and sickness and seeks to make us accept them as our reality is not of God and we ought to cast such out.

Only the spirit of God will inspire us to take what we see in God’s word and manifest it in our lives, he is the Spirit that confesses that the word of God is manifested in flesh, he reminds us of the word of God and helps us get conscious of its reality in our lives.
