“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.”
Romans 12:17
He continues from the main verse:
“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18
Seek peace, you are identified with the Lord of peace, and true to form, in the most heated situations, he chose peace and departed such events not just unharmed but also ensuring no one was harmed too. See these examples: Luke 4:28-30, John 8:59, John 10:31-40.
The Bible tells us:
“And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business…” 1 Thessalonians 4:11 and
“But let none of you suffer as a… busybody in other men’s matters.” 1 Peter 4:15
Choose to mind your business and walk with people who are just as submitted to the word, because having the wrong associations can influence your experience of others and in life:
“Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.” Proverbs 22:10
So make every effort to ensure you aren’t quarreling or causing trouble for anybody.
