“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.” Romans 12:14
God told Abraham:
“…In thee shall all nations be blessed.” Galatians 3:8
But the promise was to Abraham and his seed: Galatians 3:16
We are that seed, and inheritors of the promise- we are born again to bless others:
“And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29
Temptations comes to prove your knowledge of the word and who you are, but because you don’t forget your description in the word:
“For if any be a hearer of the word… he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass…” James 1:23
You go ahead and bless!
He tells you why you should bless instead of cursing:
“…knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.” 1 Peter 3:9
Because no matter the situation, your inheritance is a blessing, the opportunity to do the word (bless and not curse) while being persecuted and cursed, is an opportunity to walk in the blessing:
“…he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” James 1:25
