“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Romans 12:21
Be fully satisfied with the knowledge that all God does is for your own benefit, even his choices for promotion.
1 Peter 2:9, He has already chosen you and how he loves you so:
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
Be satisfied with his decisions concerning people and live your life to please him:
“No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:4
Focus always and only on him as your help, put all of your trust in him, knowing that he is so invested in your life and your success that he chose to live in you.
Therefore, put away envy and comparison from your life, it is unwise:
“…but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” 2 Corinthians 10:12
Also don’t compare others, remember the words of John:
“…A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.” John 3:27
And be more focused on what he’s given you, keeping it and being productive with it.
