“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7
We can be present in the light were God resides and not just that we can walk in that light; he expects us to because he wants us to have fellowship with him- it is our call!
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 19
In that fellowship, there is remission from sin as clearly stated in the main verse:
“… we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
The remarkable thing is God doesn’t want to hide himself from us, he doesn’t want to hide his thoughts and understanding from us, he called us to dwell where he dwells and function as he functions! This goes beyond asking him that your physical requirements be met, he wants to really bring you to a place where you show up and the requirements of others are met- this happened with the prophets of old; they showed up and the hungry got food, the sick got healed, the little had many and the Bible said, even with all of that they pondered about your coming; you, called to glory, the glory of God and dispensing glory:
“…through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1:3
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” Colossians 1:27
