“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
2 Peter 1:4

The word of God says:
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” 1 Corinthians 1:30
Christ has been made unto us righteousness! We are in Christ, dwelling in righteousness, Christ is in us, and he has been made unto us righteousness; meaning any action inspired by Christ would always turn out right!
We are right with God, we have been enabled by reason of the new birth to live right, make the right decisions, walk on the right path all the days of our lives!
In this life of righteousness, we are sanctified- set apart to always be right; we have been set apart for things to always turn out right with us! Christ is our sanctification, even if we are in that ship that should sink, we are the separated ones that would not be dismayed or frightened, we were born sanctified- separated unto life!
We don’t pray for sanctification anymore, it has been given us- sanctified unto righteousness! In your environment, you could have many unbelievers doing the wrong thing, but realize that you have been separated from them to do right! Live in that reality!
