“Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.”
Joshua 1:6

It is no surprise that he tells Joshua to keep the word on his lips, the Bible tells us:
“…for he hath said… So that we may boldly say…”Hebrews 13:5-6
He gave us his word so we can speak accordingly, you see him work with the prophets of old accordingly:
“The word of the LORD came to me. He said, “Son of man, look toward the people of Ammon and speak against them for me. Say to them: ‘Listen to the word of the Lord GOD…” Ezekiel 25:1-3, (see also other interactions with the Prophet throughout the book of Ezekiel)
And he assured us that when we prioritize his word in our lives, the only possible result is that we prosper in whatever we do:
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalms 1:2-3
Our prosperity ceases to be limited by the works of our hands but by his word in our hearts and on our lips!
“…Those people succeed in everything they do.” Psalms 1:3, CEV
