You can depend on Jesus, because he’s consistent. The Bible tells us he is the same:
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8
and he being the word of God; he would never change- his positions, verdicts and instructions would endure forever:
“…the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever… the word of the Lord endureth for ever…” 1 Peter 1:23,25
He had told us:
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18
He made clear that the way to heal the sick is to lay hands on them, and this is one of the signs that differentiate believers from unbelievers, and true to his consistency, when he was to instruct a disciple to go heal a sick man, he repeated the same instruction:
“And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.” Acts 9:12
Lay hands; he already told you what you should expect, submit to him not your sensual perceptions.
