Jesus taught us about faith:
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23
He said when you speak to a situation, don’t doubt in your heart and that’s because many situations would arise that would try to shake you, he said keep believing what you said would happen and you would have what you say. So here comes his mom:
“And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.” John 2:3
In other words, give them more wine. He was a guest at the wedding, he had no business with the planning, hence his response:
“…Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.” John 2:4
But her actions showed her expectation, she, despite his protestations expected that she would have what she said so much so she made arrangements concerning her desires:
“His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” John 2:5
And she did: John 2:9-11.
