“And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.”
John 17:19

Every Christian is a saint, and that means every Christian is different, is separate and this should show in the kind of life you live.
You are as different from the world as Jesus is different from the world, he said so himself:
“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” John 17:16
And so if people mock you as trying to be Jesus because you don’t conform, realize that they’re not even entirely accurate because you shouldn’t be trying, you should be just as different.
The Bible tells us:
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” 2 Corinthians 6:17
Meaning you must make deliberate effort to come out and keep yourself from that which is unclean- unclean thoughts, sounds and sights.
