“The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness…” Proverbs 21:5
If God would transform your life, he would change the way you think; he would change your mindset:
“…be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Romans 12:2
He tells us diligence begins with a mindset that seeks plenty, the diligent is thinking of how to increase and prosper and so because of such productive thoughts of abundance, he gets up and does what he ought to do promptly, in contrast with the slothful:
“The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing…” Proverbs 13:4
He has embraced poverty before it reflected in his life because of the way he thinks:
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” Proverbs 10:4
This is a sure promise given us by God’s word- if a man found himself in an industry or in any workplace and prioritizes skill- excellence, speed, readiness to deliver, he would be rich, he would lead that organization or industry; be that man!
