“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path.”
Psalm 119:105
God didn’t send you to the world and leave you without a guide, remember you are not of this world, you came from God: John 17:14,16, 1John 4:4.
This means you cannot take your marching orders on how to live life and navigate the earth from the world, you are a pilgrim- on journey of purpose:
“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;” 1 Peter 2:11
And learn from the word:
““I am a stranger in the earth: Hide not thy commandments from me… I am a stranger in the earth: Hide not thy commandments from me. Thy statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.” Psalms 119:19, 54
So while others expect to live their lives by trial and errors and stumble as they go without the certainty of having lived a fulfilled life, God gave you his word as a lamp unto your feet, so every step you take is visibly clear and precise and just gets better and better: Proverbs 4:18.
