“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.”
Daniel 1:17

The Bible tells us:
“And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” Daniel 1:20
This means their intelligence and improvement was measurable; it wasn’t fictitious- they just got better. Now that you know the same Spirit that can impart intelligence dwells inside of you, how does this move from being something you know to your everyday experience?
“Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.” Psalms 119:98-99
Meditating on the word. Remember, God already promised to give the children of Israel the promise land, infact right from the days of Abraham: Genesis 15:13-16.
But the connection between what he had given them already to their walking in it was meditation: Joshua 1:8, 23:1-7.
The Bible tells us:
“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10, 12
