“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.”
Daniel 1:17
The Bible says God didn’t just make them intelligent; he gave them skill in all learning and wisdom.
The word for skill “sakal” can also be rendered “expert”, “pay attention” and the word for learning “sepher” actually means “books”.
There is general knowledge, but an expert is someone who understands a particular subject in detail, the Bible is telling us God made Daniel and his friends experts in all books; in every subject!
Don’t limit God.
Meaning if they took a book or a document and read- they’d understand the subject like experts would with similar accuracy and speed, and because he gave them skill in wisdom also, it wouldn’t just be some unfruitful knowledge, but they’d immediately know how to produce results with what they know:
“Yet Wisdom is shown to be right by what its followers do.” Luke 7:35
Do you know this isn’t a promise of what God can do for you, but what is already available to you? Have you contemplated that the doer lives inside of you already—right now?
