“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.”
Daniel 1:17
Meditating on God’s word can never be overemphasized, the Bible tells us of Jesus, the living word:
“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:3
And so he created all things, and he looked at everything that could fascinate you, everything that could get your attention and you could busy with and said:
“But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42
What did Mary choose? Attention to the word- Luke 10:39.
Paying attention to the word is the one thing needful! Prioritize your time with God’s word. Invest in God’s word. People pay huge amount of monies for trainings and seminars organized by industry experts, in the hope to become better in the way they think and become more productive in life.
Put even more investment reading the material curated by the only universal expert, and you actually would become more productive in life. This is all the investment he asks- your attention and your heart. Proverbs 4:20, 23:6.
