“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9
Look at this:
“For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:8
This is why the word of God (because the word of God says so) should be the sole reason for the things you do and the decisions you make. If you sow to your flesh- do things because you were spurred on by your five senses, because it looked, sounded, tasted, smelt and felt good, he says there’s no promise to look forward to, you would be choosing to queue alongside Lot, who made a profound decision based on what he observed and ended up in a cave with absolutely nothing:
“And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where… Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east… And Lot went up out of Zoar… and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.” Genesis 13:10-11,19:30
Don’t reap corruption, waste your time arguing against God’s word and living life based on your feelings, live a profitable and prosperous life; sow, invest your life in the word.
