“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9
Do not spend your time outside God’s word; purposely refusing to do God’s word because of how you feel; firstly, every action is a seed to be reaped later, meaning you’d be wasting time walking in disobedience and in future you’d reap another waste of time- it’s not worth it.
Don’t make decisions because of self gratification (you feel good about it) your feelings are not Jesus Christ in fact the flesh lusts against the spirit:
“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” Galatians 5:17
Don’t make decisions based on your gut or conscience; they could be wrong:
“even if our conscience condemns us, that God is greater than our conscience, and He knows all things.” 1 John 3:20, HCSB
Hear God speaking to you through his word and forge ahead. The man who constantly and consistently sows to his flesh, lives in disobedience, in due time also, those investments would manifest in his life- but that should not be you
